Inspiring American Activist and Multi-Dimensional Artist, Josephe Buchanan aka POP Buchanan has announced that he will devote himself as the symbol of sobriety and recovery to inspire the youth worldwide. In a recent interview, Joe has declared a war against addiction and has humbly established the fact that he will continue to help the addicted ones and will bring them to complete sobriety. Joe is also the creator of Monk Energy, LLC and the popular hip-hop artist has also become a proactive sobriety activist and nutrition enthusiast.
“I am a child of God, an old Brooklynite New Yorker with a passion of music and I just want to spread a positive word wherever I go.” Said Joe in his recent ‘Interview In the Kitchen’ with DJ Permiss. “My whole POP Buchanan Movement is about bringing enlightenment to the people and bringing positive energy to their lives.” He added. The artist also talked about hip hop, sobriety, God, love, and business with DJ Permiss in the Kitchen.After surviving severe alcoholism and reversing pre-diabetes, Joe is now proudly devoted to saving others and has started a worldwide movement in this regard.
Monk Energy, LLC is Joe's company and its motto is that ‘transformation is inevitable’. Josephe started this company to bring low glycemic beverages and foods to the market. The artist himself has proved it right by quitting alcohol and cigarettes addiction in the last 5 years. He now aims to go national and wants to share this story with everyone to inspire many of those who are trying to quit. Moreover, he also promotes a sugar free America and teaches people how to reverse pre-diabetes. It is Josephe goal to be the poster child/boy of sobriety, and model of health for the next generation.
Currently, Joe is 37 and he has an inspiring life story that has moved many people’s hearts. His major interests include poetry and fitness but his biggest passion is music. Tragically, he struggled with alcohol addiction from the age of 27-33 and that addiction turned his life upside down, professionally and personally. Luckily, he realized this and entered rehab in 2013 and has changed his life since. Now his only aim is to lead the fight against addiction and share his own story to help others.
